On a warm, sunny September morning 40+ eager volunteers came out to beautiful Meadowgate Park to kick off National Forest Week by planting trees! As volunteers of all ages ‘rolled up their sleeves’ and dug into the ground, the third annual Business Planting was underway to plant more than 260 native trees and shrubs to make our city greener.

hosted by ReForest London. It was a beautiful day and we had a lot of fun planting trees in the park.
As a company, Dillon focuses on environmental sustainability, and this is a fantastic way to
team build with our staff and give back to the community that we live in.”

This was a planting open to he public as well and many different volunteers took part. Both young and old worked side by side to give these native trees and shrubs a new home in a diversely planted park where you can see the years of plantings that ReForest London has done. So many beautiful trees and shrubs are growing big and healthy providing all their leafy benefits including habitat for birds which are plentiful here.
