More and more condominiums are growing in popularity and it is heartening to see residents want to have more trees in their shared communities.

Planting roots in his community is something our Tree Capatin Matthew Jaszczynski took literally in his neighbourhood.

We find that it takes three conversations to talk a neighbour into a tree, once they are in you can never get them out.

Working together meant that a park may bloom where now a billboard stands - good work Captains!

Sometimes we have to actually get out there and plant trees for our neighbours if they are ever going to get in the ground - and that is ok with us.

In celebration of National Tree Day, Home Hardware - London East Building Centre plants 200 trees in Soveriegn Woods

Despite it being the Thanksgiving weekend, over 50 volunteers pitched in to plant 150 native trees and shrubs in Helen Mott Shaw Park, a woodland just west of Masonville.

A collaboration between a Neighbourhood Tree Captain, a church and a school has led to 363 trees and shrubs being added to a central Argyle greenspace. Three naturalization projects, caliper tree and whip trail plantings and the creation of a new school outdoor reading area have made a big green difference.

This year’s National Tree Day was a big success in London, thanks to the efforts and support of twenty-two Million Tree Challenge Partners.2700 baby trees found new homes with Londoners!

Over 50 volunteers came out to plant 450 trees in this ongoing park naturalization project.

TD Tree Days is TD’s flagship volunteer program, providing TD Employees, their families, TD customers and community partners the opportunity to demonstrate leadership in environmental stewardship in their local communities.

Good things are growing in London! Over the winter and spring, several different groups and individuals grew trees to support London’s Million Tree Challenge.

Dave Craven at Union Gas challenged some colleagues in London to support a park naturalization project to benefit the Million Tree Challenge. On June 8th, Jesse Davidson Park was the site of this challenge in action!

Over 60 people gathered on Coronation Drive in the city’s west end to plant almost 250 native trees and shrubs on May 4th, 2013.

With just thirty-four volunteers over 400 trees and shrubs were planted in this sports park in south London.

Giving the Gift of a Tree is the Perfect Business Gift

MTC Partners come in all shapes and sizes, from independent professionals right up to large corporations.

Over 350 people attended the Celebration Forest planting on May 25th to honour and celebrate loved ones with the gift of a tree at this third annual event.

Spectacular weather made the first park naturalization project of the spring season even more amazing at Chelsea Green on April 27, Over 125 volunteers lent a hand (and foot) to plant 460 native trees and shrubs!

Over 160 volunteers from 12 faith groups planted 630 trees and shrubs in London's first interfaith tree planting event.

Million Tree Challenge Partner, the well-known Richmond Row eatery Joe Kool's, plants a 30 foot tree in Victoria Park and donates $500 to London's Million Tree Challenge.
