Volunteer Spotlight – June 2013

Name: Craig Ingram
Volunteer Since: May 2013
Volunteered As: Tree Planter, Aftercare Specialist, Transportation Specialist

Autobiography: My name is Craig Ingram, I am the owner/operator of Lanktree Tree Services, a local tree care company. As a father, a business person and a member of the community I recognize the value of living in a city with lots of trees. Trees are directly related to greater levels of health and well- being, not only for the cleaner air and oxygen they provide, but the peace and quietness they bring to our life. I encourage everyone to get involved and plant a tree!

Reflections on Volunteering: I have been working with the group from ReForest London since May, particularly with the aftercare tree program. With this group I get to be involved doing the work that I am good at and that I enjoy. I have an opportunity to include my children, we get to be outside and I can teach them the importance of giving back to our community. We have a great time and have met many interesting people from all walks of life.
