Canadale Nursery and Forestcare donated 2,000 White Spruce trees to ReForest London. ReForest London gave away over 900 of these trees at Canadale Nursery, and used the rest in other projects throughout the spring.

Since most of the land in London is privately owned, improving our tree cover relies on people planting on their own properties.

White Spruce, or Picea glauca, is a densely, pyramidal spire with bluish-green needles that grows to about 15 metres (50 feet). It is native to Ontario , and has been in the area since the last Ice Age.
